Prostate MRI Scans in North Wales & Cheshire
We are experienced radiologists with special interest in uro-radiological imaging and prostate scans in particular.
We routinely read, evaluate and report Multiparametric MRI scans of prostate. We work closely with our Urology colleagues and general practitioners for a collaborative approach.
Our ethos is to provide a high quality and timely service to the patients and the practitioners they are seeing.
At present, we have two sites in the North West of United kingdom where the scans can be performed. The quality of scans is stringently followed and only particular types of scanners are utilised. If you specifically need 3 Tesla scanners please contact and we will try and organise.

TRUS-biopsy performs poorly as a diagnostic test for clinically significant prostate cancer. MP-MRI, used as a triage test before first prostate biopsy, could identify a quarter of men who might safely avoid an unnecessary biopsy and might improve the detection of clinically significant cancer.
